RISEUP

The RISEUP Revolution Series has consisted so far of 2 LAN Qualifiers and 1 Currently ongoing Online competition. The 2 Qualifiers were played last year in both Durban and Johannesburg with various teams coming out on top in the platform Counter Strike 1.6. The original plan was to accomadate 8 teams in the LAN finals but this year we have decided to change it to 12 and host the current online league to decide the other qualifying teams. Due to this change, many of the online participants have already qualified for the LAN Finals and the tournament will be taken as a seeding process now. Here is the teams qualified so far:

Qualified on LAN:

3. Baptism in Fire
4. Xpertz at Total Chaos

Due to the other qualifying teams breaking up, they will not be named. This left 8 spots open for teams participating in the online tournament and these teams have therefore qualified:

8. Pantheon
9. 501.a
10. 501.b
11. ESP

The Finals will be hosted in Durban from the 26^th-28^th of March in Durban, hosted with FRAG. Our sponsors include Panda Security, SteelSeries and TideMedia. Our plans for the event are a secret for the time being but let us just say that this event will be one that will be well worth it and won’t be forgotten easily.
